Route that wants to combine the most legendary trails of the Gessera. We will begin the ascent by road to the village of Tendrui, where we can stock up on water while trying not to disturb its tranquility. Important, as there are no other water points on the entire route. We will continue up the track until we reach the head of the terme, where we will begin the descent of the Escolopendra, one of the most fun trails in the area. Once at the bottom we will go back up the Pujada de la Muerte path, which will take us back to the top of everything. We will continue down the Sisquet and Mega Sisquet, which, leaving us at the bottom of a ravine, will force us to go up a hard climb to reach the Gessera track, which we will follow until the entrance to the Serengueti. We will go down until we find the intersection with the Afganistrail to go down this to the end of the Tobogans. Once again on the Tendrui road we will go up the Gessera track until we find the link of Les Esquerdes, which will leave us again at the crossroads of the Afganistrail and Serengeti, now yes, going down the latter again until to the road. We will continue to link some other trails to Tremp.
On the days of intense rain, including the next day and the following days, we will find a lot of clayey mud on all the paths of the route, which will prevent us from driving.
On cold winter days we will avoid going down the Escolopendra, Mega Sisquet and Tobogans, as they present very shady areas, where the cold of the night causes the moisture to freeze and turn back into mud towards noon, creating a cycle that causes perpetual mud during most winter days.
On days of intense fog, once the Serengueti is finished, it is advisable to return to Tremp by road, avoiding La Torre del Felix and Jordan’s, as they are very cold and very humid corners that will certainly present mud. That’s why we present an alternative track that wants to avoid these conflicting points.
The alternative track will only avoid the mud on foggy and cold days in winter. On days with a lot of rain, including the next day and the following days, we recommend directly changing areas and doing the Driblant Lo Fang route.
Normally, the best conditions for this route occur in spring and autumn.
On days when the ground is compact, due to rain and humidity in previous weeks, the best conditions for flying over the clay of our territory are given.
The route can be done perfectly, but you have to take into account that it is very exposed to the sun and the heat.
Extreme caution must be taken on the descents, because the very dry clay does not have the grip desired by cyclists.
