We leave in the direction of Talarn and get off the ZZ Top and then take the road that goes up to Santa Engràcia. We enter Roques Pelades until the crossroads of Bruixes, where we will turn off to take this trail. Then we go up the track to the hermitage of Sant Pere. Once there, take the uphill version of the Cresta de Sant Pere and continue up the trail to the Santa Engràcia track. We take the direction of Roc de Moretó and once we enter Moretó we follow the path to the town of Gurp, where we will take the long path of the Barranc dels Lleons. The trail starts between fields and oak forest until we quickly enter the ravine where it is worth stopping to contemplate the shapes of the clay terrain with monolith formations.
The path continues down the ravine with some demanding small climbs until it reaches the old path of Santa Engràcia. We will follow it to the road passing by a source and the Silex trail. We will return along the edge of Noguera Pallaresa along the path of the Ínsules.
On winter days and intense fog, the route can be completed perfectly, since most of it travels at height. Similarly, once we reach the crossroads of Santa Engràcia, it is best to return to Tremp on the C-13 road, avoiding possible mud in the Ínsules.
On rainy days we will avoid the route, because the Barranco dels Leons can present a lot of mud.
We do not present an alternative track, on days of heavy rain we directly recommend doing the Driblant Lo Fang route.
Usually, the best conditions to do the full route are available all year round.
The route can be done perfectly, but we will avoid going up the Santa Engràcia road during the hottest hours.
