Route that wants to be a proposal on days of high humidity, whether due to heavy rains or very intense fog trying to avoid the mud that we can get into in many corners. We will leave Tremp on asphalt while looking for the road that leads to Santa Engràcia, which we will follow until the entrance to Roques Pelades, a varied dirt trail that begins with a rock garden section, continuing with stone slabs and some very rolling sections within the Forest. We will avoid the big slab for the Bonavista variant, thus avoiding possible problems due to humidity. We will cross the stone alley until we reach the lookout area, we will take the Valkyries variant, which will leave us again at the crossroads of the Santa Engràcia road.
Returning to Tremp, and always on asphalt, we will go to look for the path that goes up to the Roc de Neret, a tortuous track, which gets worse as we gain in altitude. Once at the top, from where we will enjoy privileged views of the San Antonio reservoir and the Pyrenees in the background, we will begin the descent along a broken path with a lot of stone and sandbanks to the entrance of Arizona, a mythical descent that will leave us at a point where we will go towards the hermitage of Sant Bartomeu to reach the road again and return to Tremp by this.
The entire area of Roques Pelades and les Antenes has terrain with very good drainage, so this track is the best option on days of high humidity due to intense rain. If we do not know the area, it is also a very good option on days with a lot of intense fog, because it avoids the return through the ravines.
This route presents good conditions all year round.
On days when the ground is wet and compact, due to rain and humidity in previous days/weeks, the best grip conditions occur.
The route can be done perfectly, but you have to take into account that the first climb is on asphalt, so we will avoid the hottest hours of the day.
Extreme caution must be taken in the curves, at some points the sandstone terrain can present sandbars that can play tricks on us.
